You are the one product manager for kununu Jobs, for job seekers and for employers. You own the full journey end-to-end. Together with the Business Owner for Jobs you decide where we invest next and why. You report to the Director of Product.

Our engineering teams are led by one tech lead who owns delivery. You set direction, run discovery with our User Research and Analytics colleagues and give the tech lead and the teams clear outcomes and context to build against. Your focus is on the concept and „the why“, not on writing perfect user stories. You bring a builder mindset and use AI along the way, from research to concept to prototype, so ideas become testable early.

The gross annual salary for this position ranges between €60,000 and €78,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Your Tasks

• Co-decide with the Business Owner Jobs on strategy, investments and priorities across both sides of the product and explain the reasoning behind each call
• Own the product direction for Jobs over several quarters: turn business goals into clear opportunity areas and outcomes for engineering
• Run discovery: frame problems, form and test hypotheses and work with User Research and Analytics to decide what is worth building
• Use AI hands-on across the cycle: synthesize research and data, sharpen concepts and build quick prototypes to test ideas with users before the teams commit
• Balance the two sides of the marketplace, job seekers and employers, so that growth on one side supports the other
• Give the tech lead and the teams outcomes, context and a product concept to build against while leaving solution and delivery decisions to them
• Define the few KPIs that matter together with Business Analytics, review impact regularly and stop what does not create value
• Align Brand, Marketing, Analytics and other business units around one direction for Jobs
• Keep asking what real benefit we deliver to our users: true problem-solving instead of feature factory work

Your Skills

• Strong identification with our mission to bring transparency to the world of work – and the ambition to create real value for users and customers
• Many years of product management experience for digital services, with a proven record of shaping strategy and making investment decisions, not only delivering roadmaps
• Experience with two-sided marketplaces, job boards, HR tech or other platforms with a B2C and a B2B side is a strong plus
• Hands-on discovery skills: problem framing, hypothesis testing, interpreting research and data
• A builder mindset: you already use AI tools in your daily work, from research to concept to prototype, and turn ideas into something testable fast
• Commercial thinking: you connect product decisions to revenue, retention and growth
• Credibility with engineers: you give direction and context and you work well with an autonomous tech lead
• Clear thinking and communication and the ability to make a good call with incomplete information
• Very good English, written and spoken
• Required: To be located in Vienna
